A small studio building useful AI apps

iOS and Android, designed and developed in-house

Four apps in the App Store and Google Play, each built around a simple idea: put a genuinely helpful AI assistant in your pocket – for what you eat, what you buy and what you learn.

The apps

Every app is designed, built and maintained here – from the first sketch to the App Store release.

AI Nutrition Coach

Snap a photo of your meal or just describe it out loud – the AI identifies the ingredients and logs the calories for you. Nutrevo builds a diet plan around your goal and your taste, then coaches you through it with feedback that actually knows your eating and training history.

About the studio

DesignerBytes is an independent app studio run by Paul Thomä. Everything you see here is built by one small team that handles the whole thing – interface design, iOS and Android development, backend, AI integration and the App Store release.

The common thread across all four apps is putting large language models to work on ordinary, everyday problems: understanding what is on a food label, keeping track of what you ate, or getting unstuck on a homework problem at 9pm. The AI stays in the background – what matters is that the app is quick, private and genuinely useful.
